A Clear Plan for Idaho's Future

Idaho’s future depends on strong families, a healthy workforce, and communities where people can afford to live and build a life. Together, let’s focus on practical solutions that support working families, strengthen our economy, protect our public lands, and ensure opportunity is available to all Idahoans.

Early Childhood Education & Child Care

Access to affordable, quality child care is essential for Idaho families, employers, and our economy. Too many parents struggle to find care they can afford, forcing difficult choices between their careers and their families. I will be a strong advocate for expanding access to early childhood education and child care through public-private partnerships that support working families, strengthen our workforce, and help ensure children enter kindergarten ready to learn. Investing in our youngest Idahoans is one of the smartest investments we can make in our state's future.

Protecting Workers from Extreme Heat

As our summers become hotter, workers in agriculture, construction, warehousing, and other outdoor industries face increasing risks from extreme heat. I will work with stakeholders to implement commonsense protections that help prevent heat-related illness and save lives while working collaboratively with employers, workers, and industry leaders to develop practical solutions that keep Idaho's workforce healthy, productive, and safe.

Fiscal Responsibility

Fiscal responsibility means making smart investments and spending taxpayer dollars wisely. I support balanced budgets, government accountability, and policies that strengthen Idaho's long-term economic future. That means protecting essential services that Idaho families rely on, investing in priorities like education, infrastructure, and workforce development, and ensuring public education dollars remain in public schools. We can be responsible stewards of taxpayer money while building stronger communities and expanding opportunity for all Idahoans.

Housing Affordability

Like many of you, I worry that homeownership is slipping out of reach for the next generation. I was fortunate to buy my first home at a young age, but today too many hardworking families can't afford to buy a home or keep up with rising rents. I will work with local communities, housing experts, and the private sector to increase housing supply, support responsible growth, and expand opportunities for homeownership and affordable housing so more Idahoans can build a future in the communities they call home.

Public Lands and Natural Resources

Idaho’s public lands are part of who we are. Growing up exploring our forests, rivers, and trails taught me the importance of protecting these places for future generations. I will oppose efforts to transfer or sell off public lands, support responsible stewardship of our natural resources, and work to ensure Idahoans can continue to hunt, fish, hike, and recreate on the lands that belong to all of us.

Protecting Reproductive Freedom & Maternal Health Care

Decisions about pregnancy and reproductive health should remain between patients, their families, and their doctors, not politicians. Idaho families deserve access to safe, high-quality maternal and reproductive care and the freedom to make personal medical decisions without government interference. As a legislator, I will advocate for protecting personal freedom and strengthening Idaho’s maternal health workforce so families, especially in rural communities, can access the care they need close to home.

Keeping Idaho Safe and Welcoming

Every Idahoan deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued in their community. I believe our state is strongest when we treat one another with dignity and look out for our neighbors. I will work to ensure all Idahoans can live, work, learn, and raise their families without fear of discrimination, harassment, or violence. No matter who you are, where you come from, or who you love, you deserve the opportunity to build a safe and successful life in Idaho.

Higher Education & Career Technical Education

Every Idahoan deserves a pathway to a good-paying career, whether that means earning a college degree, completing an apprenticeship, or pursuing career technical training. As a first-generation college graduate, I understand how education can create opportunities for families and strengthen communities. I will support efforts to make higher education more accessible and affordable while expanding career technical education and workforce training programs that prepare students for in-demand careers in skilled trades and other essential industries that keep Idaho moving forward.
